This comprehensive Flutter-based platform is designed to bridge the gap between restaurants and local diners by creating a seamless deal discovery and redemption experience. They can control offer details, availability, and performance, ensuring flexibility and effectiveness in their marketing efforts. On the customer side, users can browse location-based deals, access real-time offers, and enjoy a smooth claiming process that encourages repeat visits and brand loyalty. Additionally, the platform includes a role-driven system for in-venue staff, allowing controlled access for efficient deal redemption and validation. Challenges & solutions

The technical problems our team solved to ship a reliable, unified mobile experience.

Native RevenueCat SDK could not fully support Flutter Web or Stripe-based purchases, resulting in delayed entitlement synchronization across platforms. Webhook processing latency also caused newly purchased subscriptions to appear inactive immediately aft

Architected a hybrid subscription engine combining the native RevenueCat SDK with the RevenueCat REST API. Implemented lifecycle-based subscription polling, fallback REST verification, and Supabase synchronization to ensure subscriptions remain consistent across Android, iOS, and Web regardless of purchase source.

Static QR codes could be shared through screenshots, while rapid scanner detections generated duplicate redemption requests and race conditions. The system also needed to prevent redemptions at incorrect restaurant branches.

Developed a dynamic QR generation system containing structured redemption metadata and implemented scan-lock mechanisms to prevent duplicate requests. Added restaurant validation, redemption status handling, and scanner lifecycle management to ensure every QR code is redeemed only once.

Rendering hundreds of restaurant markers caused map clutter, frame drops, and poor scrolling performance. Flutter Google Maps also lacked native support for displaying remote profile images inside custom map markers.

Built a clustering architecture using google_maps_flutter with zoom-based marker grouping. Created a custom Canvas rendering pipeline that converts restaurant profile images into dynamic BitmapDescriptor markers, delivering smooth map interaction and visually rich restaurant identification.

Traditional start/end time models could not support multiple recurring schedules while maintaining validation, serialization, and backward compatibility with legacy data structures.

Designed a JSON-based scheduling architecture using structured weekly schedule models. Implemented day-specific validation, recurring time windows, and seamless Supabase RPC serialization to support complex recurring promotions without database schema changes.

Staff members required different permission levels for creating deals and scanning QR codes, while all permissions had to be automatically revoked when the parent restaurant subscription expired.

Developed a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) architecture using dynamic access levels and parent subscription verification. Integrated real-time permission checks before every restricted operation, ensuring secure access management and subscription compliance.

Push notifications needed to behave consistently across foreground, background, and terminated application states while maintaining correct navigation flow and keeping FCM tokens synchronized across user sessions.

Engineered a centralized notification framework using Firebase Cloud Messaging, local notifications, and a dedicated deep-link routing handler. Implemented automatic FCM token synchronization with Supabase and payload-driven navigation for a consistent cross-platform notification experience.
